Start at the Baie des Fourmis in Beaulieu, walk around the Pointe Saint-Hospice peninsula, finish in Cap Ferrat marina. 3 km gentle walking, no traffic, sea on one side and 100-year pines on the other.

1. Baie des Fourmis
Beaulieu's oval-shaped pocket bay. Turquoise water, soft pebble beach, beloved by locals. Trail starts here. Name comes from the 'ant-like' fishermen who used to crowd the rocks.

2. Pointe Saint-Hospice chapel
Halfway around the peninsula stands the Saint-Hospice chapel, built in the 11th century. Perched on a cliff in the pines, with a bronze statue of the saint who lived here in the 6th century.

3. Plage de Paloma
The trail descends into one of the Riviera's most secret coves. Half-moon pebble beach, deep turquoise water. Paloma Beach restaurant was Coco Chanel's and Greta Garbo's hideaway — still a VIP spot today.
